Russian President Vladimir Putin praises heroism of Russian soldiers repelling attacks in Zaporizhzhia region

The fighting between Russia and Ukraine intensified today in the southeastern part of Ukraine. While Kyiv claimed to have launched a major push, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that hostilities have intensified significantly and Ukraine’s resistance has been unsuccessful. Putin also praised the heroism of Russian soldiers repelling attacks in the Zaporizhzhia region.

The Russian president also claimed that Moscow’s troops destroyed Ukraine’s military equipment inflicting heavy losses on Kyiv’s army. According to reports, Ukraine has deployed thousands of troops in the region in recent days.
