 Launched this year under the theme ‘Brand India’ Winning’, Pharma Leaders’ Leadership Award is India’s Only Dedicated Celebration of Excellence in Healthcare Innovation, Pharmaceutical & Medical Excellence and Brand Transformation. A TRIBUTE TO DR. SHOME’S FANTASTIC MEDICAL JOURNEY

Having served as the head of Facial Plastic Surgery at Nova specialty surgery in Mumbai, and the head of Aesthetics and Cosmetic surgery at Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad he has earned the reputation of being one of the most recommended and respected plastic surgery experts in the country. With outstanding contributions to the healthcare sector in general, Dr. Shome delivers specialty in facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, facial ocular oncology, oculoplastic, eyelid and orbital surgery.

Further, Dr. Shome has to his credit over 20 national and international peer-reviewed publications, for research around the development of a nano-molecule drug beneficial in the treatment of retinoblastoma. He is highly renowned amongst celebrity and media circles, and has been a columnist for national publications including the Times of India, Hindustan Times and DNA (Daily News & Analysis).

KAPOOR’S MATCHLESS CONTRIBUTION TO NON-SURGICAL AESTHETIC MEDICINE

Dr. Kapoor comes with extensive expertise in the planning and development of skin laser and dermato-surgery and was honored with the prestigious International Society of Dermatology Fellowship for the year 2008. Teaming up with Dr. Shome, in identifying and extracting the nano-molecule QR 678 that helps with hair regrowth, she made a place for herself amongst the top-notch dermatological experts of the country, solving medical problems in skin-care, and helping people gain confidence.

Post this she took up key functions in research initiatives at the Indian Institute of Technology on the lines of ‘growth factors for hair regeneration’. Today, she forefronts the Department of Cosmetic Dermatology at the Esthetic clinic, as Director & Consultant Dermatologist, Cosmetic Dermatologist, Cosmetologist and Trichologist.
